Blood Guise (血装い Chiyosohi) is a unique kekkei genkai that can manifest in any member of the Shioya clan, but is still considered to be extremely rare. Some users that possess this kekkei genkai possess different variations.

Overview[]

By making chakra flow directly into their blood vessels, users of this technique can drastically increase their attack and defense power to inhuman levels. However, despite the significant danger this potentially presents to one's opponents, it possesses one major flaw: because the independent forms of the technique for attack and defense operate using two different chakra systems, they cannot be employed simultaneously. The acquisition of Blood Guise depends on the blood of the person. Pure-blooded members of the Shioya clan are able to obtain it naturally, while mixed-blooded Shioya need to learn it through training.

Side-effects[]

Those with this Kekkei Genkai seem to be plagued with Disassociative Identity Disorder, caused by their blood having a chakra of its own that differs from the user's. This side-effect can be very dangerous to members of the Shioya clan unless they undergo rigorous training to control the Kekkei Genkai.

Abilities[]

Masterful users can form constructs made out of blood and use them to their advantage. They can also use their own blood to make them stronger for a time or heal the wounds of themselves or blood relatives. Another unique effect of wielding the Blood Guise

kekkei genkai is that the user is literally unable to die from blood loss. Many users also seem to retain a youthful appearance and in rare cases of mastery are pseudo immortal.

Users can transform into another person or animal if they consumes a small portion of their blood. When the user is in a transformed state their chakra signature matches that of whom they transformed, they also attains their abilities as well. This gives many members of the clan a more powerful alternative to the normal Transformation Technique, as it fools even sensor-types.
